Richard G. Alford – BSc MRICS

Senior Partner, Head of Expert Witness
Richard has over 20 years Post Qualification experience, primarily in the London area. He has worked in London with Copping Joyce since 1987 and became an Equity Partner of the firm in 1993. In 2002, with the division of Copping Joyce into two separate entities, the Estate Agency Group and the Surveying Group, he became a joint senior partner of Copping Joyce Chartered Surveyors, with responsibility for the operations side of the firm. His areas of expertise include the valuation of residential and commercial property, particularly in the property development sector. David K. Foskett – DipSurv MRICS FNARA RPR

Senior Partner, Head of Recoveries
David K Foskett DipSurv MRICS is joint equity/managing director of Copping Joyce Surveyors. His key area of expertise is the sale and acquisition of investment and development of sites and buildings working within the M25 area, with specific knowledge of City fringe areas. David is also an LPA Receiver dealing with many banks. Prior to joining Copping Joyce, David practised law for 6 years. David enjoys a hectic family life with young twins. Darya Kolas – BA (Hons) MSc MRICS

Partner & Head of Social Housing
Darya is an Equity Partner of Copping Joyce since June 2019. She leads the social housing team working with developers, registered providers of social housing and their lenders. Darya has experience in valuing a wide range of asset classes including residential, retail, office, industrial, medical and leisure. Michelle Campbell – BSc (Hons) MRICS

Head of Valuation
Michelle is a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer. She has over 14 years experience within the UK valuation industry, having worked across the South East of England and more recently focusing on the Central London market. In her previous role as a director and Head of Valuation Compliance at JLL, Michelle ensured that the valuation advisory business aligned with RICS and international regulations. She now brings this regulatory knowledge and experience to the Copping Joyce team to ensure valuations are undertaken in line with best practice. Michelle has been the project manager for a number of large scale portfolio valuation mandates on behalf of UK funds including The Crown Estate, St Martins Property Corporation, and The Church Commissioners. Thanos Mesochoritis – BA (Hons) MSc MRICS

Associate Director - Head of Healthcare, Leisure & Education
Thanos is a Chartered Surveyor and a Registered Valuer specialising in going concern and development valuations. Thanos is experienced in valuing complex development sites as well as medical and leisure properties by their trading potential. Thanos joined Copping Joyce in 2018 having previously worked in construction and as an agent covering SW London. He completed a Master’s degree in Regional and Urban planning studies at the LSE. Tom Goldsmith

Head of Development Consultancy
Tom heads Development Consultancy at Copping Joyce working with developers, local authorities, housing associations and their lenders. Prior to joining CJ, Tom specialised in placement and capital stack structuring for development projects across the UK. Tom has worked with some notable names including, Transport for London, Network Rail, National Grid, and Arriva. Alexander Pyle Del Collado BSc (Hons) MRICS

Associate Director
Alexander is a Chartered Surveyor and a Registered Valuer with 7 years post qualification experience carrying out valuations of both residential and commercial property (office, retail, industrial and other non-operational real estate) across Central London, Greater London and the South East. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Urban Estate Management and is a fluent Spanish speaker. Alexander joined Copping Joyce from Bruton Knowles where he was responsible for providing valuation advice to Banks, lenders and other financial institutions. At CBRE, he was part of the Central London Valuation team where he was involved in advising Banks, REITs, Property Companies and Landed Estates on real estate valuation matters for both securitised lending and financial accounting purposes. Alexander also has experience in valuation for tax purposes and lease advisory matters including rent reviews, lease renewals and lease extensions/collective enfranchisement from his time at Gilmartin Ley. Charlotte Fleming BSc (Hons) MSc MRICS

Associate Director
Charlotte is a Chartered Surveyor and a registered member of the Valuer Registration Scheme (VRS) after becoming qualified in 2019. Charlotte holds an MSc in International Real Estate and Planning from UCL and a BSc (Hons) in Geography from The University of Manchester.  After joining Copping Joyce in 2023, she now acts on behalf of Banks, Developers and Investors and specialises in reporting on both commercial and residential properties in London, South East and the Home Counties. Josh O’Rawe – BA (Hons) MRICS

Josh graduated from with a degree in Planning and Property Development in 2016 from Oxford Brookes University. Since graduating, Josh has had experience in a number of roles previously, including both Real Estate Management Consultancy and Commercial Agency prior to joining Copping Joyce in March 2018. Alex Woolliscroft – MA MRICS

Senior Surveyor (Valuations)
Alex is a Chartered Surveyor and a registered member of the Valuer Registration Scheme (VRS). He completed his Masters degree in Commercial Real Estate at Sheffield University in 2017 and became qualified in 2020 after gaining experience in commercial/residential valuations, lease renewals, rent reviews and commercial agency. Ekaterina Chelovechkova – BSc (Hons) MSc MRICS

Shah Islam – BSc (Hons) MRICS

Senior Surveyor (Valuations)
Shah is a Chartered Surveyor and a registered member of the Valuer Registration Scheme (VRS). He completed his undergraduate degree in Real Estate at The University of Westminster in 2019 and graduated with first class honours. Shah joined us in August 2022 and brings a wealth of experience from his time at Savills and The London Borough of Barnet with experience in valuing a variety of commercial property types, including offices, retail, industrial and mixed-use developments, principally for loan security purposes. Shah has led teams which have delivered extensive portfolio valuations and has been responsible for valuing and providing asset management advice on many mixed-use developments and offices in London. Anthony Brown – BSc (Hons)

Prior to joining Copping Joyce, Anthony graduated from the University of London with a bachelor's degree in Economics. Prior to this, Anthony worked for five years as an acquisitions surveyor. He joined the Commercial Agency department in January 2020 and is working towards completing his APC.

Bilal Chaudhry – BSc (Hons) MRICS

Chartered Surveyor (Valuations)
Bilal recently joined our growing valuation team after graduating from Kingston University in Real Estate Management with a First Class (Hons) degree. Bilal is an aspiring surveyor working towards completing his Assessment of Professional Competence in the commercial pathway and becoming a registered valuer. Bilal has also completed a one year Arabic intensive language course. Michelle Cheung BBA (Hons) MRICS

Chartered Surveyor
Michelle is a Chartered Surveyor and a registered member of the Valuer Registration Scheme (VRS). She holds an undergraduate degree in Accountancy from the City University of Hong Kong and became qualified in 2018. Prior joining Copping Joyce, she worked for property developers in Hong Kong, Singapore and China, managing portfolios of properties in the Asia Pacific region and the UK. Head of Operations
Lisa is overseeing the operational activities of the business and ensuring that the workforce is productive, working with other senior staff on strategic planning, ensuring that staff is all aware of operational best practices, and implementing new technologies. Onkar joined Copping Joyce in July 2022 after graduating from the University of Westminister with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Whilst working as a Graduate Surveyor, Onkar is also studying for his Masters degree in Real Estate Development at the University of Westminister. Vicky Tseng

Surveyor
Prior to joining Copping Joyce, Vicky worked as an acquisition graduate in a boutique developer after she completed a Master’s degree in Real Estate at Henley Business School. Vicky also holds an MSc in Urban Design and Property Development from the University of Liverpool and has three years of experience in architecture design. Reuben Stovold

Surveyor
Reuben joined the Social Housing department at Copping Joyce in spring 2022. After graduating from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, NZ, he worked on various projects in the construction industry in New Zealand and London. He developed good knowledge and obtained great experience by working in different roles. Reuben is currently working towards completing his APC undertaking residential, commercial and development site valuations. Nicholas Thompson

Surveyor
Nicholas joined Copping Joyce in September 2022 after moving across from South Africa at the beginning of the Year. In 2020 Nicholas graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Property Studies. Nicholas worked as a commercial leasing and sales specialist in Cape Town before making the move across to the UK in 2022. Sebastien Chevreul

Sébastien joined Copping Joyce in 2023. After graduating with distinctions from Cardiff University with a Master’s degree in Spatial Planning and Development, he relocated to London where he had a short experience as commercial assistant before joining the Social Housing Department as a Graduate. Ben Helman

Surveyor
Ben joined Copping Joyce in June 2023 after moving to the UK from Cape Town, South Africa. At the end of 2022 Ben graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Property Studies. Prior to making his move to the UK, Ben worked as a research analyst at a surveying firm in Cape Town. Solomis Souris

Surveyor
Solos joined the Copping Joyce team in September 2023. In June 2023 Solos graduated from Nottingham Trent University studying Quantity surveying and commercial management, achieving a 2.1 with honours. Before and during his time at University, Solos also worked as a letting’s negotiator for a property management company in North London. In September 2023 he joined as a graduate surveyor and will be working towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
